Amalgamated Security Regional Recognition Awards for Law Enforcement 2020

Each year, the Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL) Regional Recognition Awards Programme for Public Law Enforcement, in collaboration with the Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police (ACCP), acknowledges and awards Top Law Enforcement Officers across the Caribbean region.

The programme recognizes a total of nine outstanding Police Officers from member countries of the ACCP, with three Awardees per each of the following categories:
• Top Caribbean Community Policing Officer
• Top Caribbean Crime Fighter
• Top Caribbean Career Move

The Amalgamated Security Services Regional Recognition Awards Programme for Public Law Enforcement was launched 8 years ago in 2014. Since then, we have awarded many police officers in the various aforementioned categories.

The aim of this programme is to publicly recognize the outstanding work that police officers do and to highlight their commitment to serving the public through their diligent and continuous efforts in making their communities and in extension the region a safer place, free of crime and the fear of crime.

We congratulate the winners for 2020 Regional Awards in the following categories:

Top Caribbean Career Move:
Winner – Superintendent Kamecia Blake-Byam, St. Vincent and the Grenadines
First Runner-Up – Detective Inspector Karema Flood, Bermuda
Second Runner-Up – Assistant Superintendent Nicola Kendall, Guyana

Top Caribbean Crime Fighter:
Winner – Detective Constable Kimber Coutain, Grenada
First Runner-Up – Senior Sergeant Shem Ralph, Antigua and Barbuda
Second Runner-Up – Sergeant Jasper Carty, St. Kitts and Nevis

Top Caribbean Community Police Officer:
Winner – Sergeant (Ag) Silvina James, St. Lucia
First Runner-Up – Sergeant (Ag) Jacey Small, Trinidad and Tobago
Second Runner-Up – Constable Samekah Farray, Grenada
